How has been the evolution of Encon Cooling Towers since 2010?

By 2010, Encon has already established itself in the Cooling Tower fan industry worldwide and encountered some unusual customer complaints regarding cooling tower thermal performance even after achieving performance improvement through our fan. Hence, Encon was forced to study the entire system and discovered some interesting design flaws either from the manufacturers or from the customers.


  1. The design capacity of the cooling towers provided by the manufacturer was not in line with the customer's technical specifications due to the cost limitations.


  2. The manufacturer failed to study the circulating water chemistry during the design phase and provided the standard model, which leads to the deterioration of performance after a narrow period of operation. This reduces the system efficiency drastically and the purpose of cooling was not served.


  3. Frequent downtime of the cooling tower negatively affects the plant process and productivity.


  4. Last but very commonly faced complaints of spare parts – frequently required to change and its non-availability.



With an objective to resolve all these issues and user satisfaction as the utmost priority, Encon has started designing the cooling towers and evolved since then. Customers are benefitted from reduced Operation and Maintenance costs.
