Problem:
The
existing bottle-type cooling tower was
inefficient in handling heat transfer and water usage, leading to suboptimal
cooling performance. This inefficiency could result in higher operational
costs, increased water consumption, and reduced sustainability in industrial
applications.
Solution:
Encon
Group upgraded the system by converting the bottle-type
cooling tower to a counter-flow cooling tower with a total capacity of 6750 CMH,
consisting of 15 towers (450 CMH per cell).
The new system efficiently cools hot water from 42°C to 32°C
at a wet bulb temperature of 29°C.
Equipped with OptiGrid fill technology, the
upgrade enhances heat transfer, optimizes
water usage, and improves overall cooling performance and sustainability.
